Metro North posts anti-Israel posters on the first day of Passover

And afterward they'll tell us that there were no complaints....
Billboards calling for an end to US aid to Israel were erected this week at 25 train stations in suburban New York and Connecticut.

The billboards that went up Tuesday, on the first day of Passover, in Metro North train stations are sponsored by a group called American Muslims for Palestine.

The ad also calls Israel’s treatment of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza a form of apartheid, and features a quote by South African social rights activist Desmond Tutu. They are scheduled to run for one month, and were reportedly timed to coincide with US President Barack Obama’s visit to Israel this month.

“The campaign against US aid for Israel targets neither Jews nor Passover, but rather Israeli apartheid and injustice. And the best way to honor Passover, which celebrates Jewish liberation from ancient oppression, is to champion Palestinian human rights today,” said Michael Letwin of Jews for Palestinian Right of Return, who spoke at Tuesday’s launch of the billboards at the Metro North Harlem station.
I wonder how many American Jewish morons are funding this....

Needless to say, if the ads smear Israel then they should be stopped.

I for one would welcome an end to US aid.

The '67 war was before US-Israel relations, the '73 war was after US-Israel relations began (when we were almost wiped out).

The only reason we continue to have aid is because it makes our so-called 'leaders' jobs easier. That's not what I pay my taxes for...

Israel's leaders are criminally and morally corrupt (with Bibi's apology being one of the more high profile examples of this ineptitude), with the last 4 years seeing the erosion of Judaism and Jewish values in Israel receding at an alarming pace. Bibi did that, under pressure from Obama.

We've had Oslo, which is just another means of waging war against us, holding the Jews to the agreements but giving our enemies free reign to wage open war against us.

Once US aid ends, the world will have to learn that if they don't sell us the weapons we need to defend ourselves, we always have the nukes...

Hi Carl,

I hope you are having a Blessed Pesach.

I am still nodding my head, looking at that ad - talking about manipulation.
And look who the authors of this great "piece of art" quote: Desmond Tutu.
It is interesting, because this week I wrote about Desmond Tutu in my blog (an articled titled "Desmond Tutu Cannot Manipulate Me"; if you wish to take a look at it: http://maxcouti.blogspot.pt/2013/03/maxiavelli-desmond-tutu-cannot.html) where I share why I don't take lessons from a man who associated himself with Hamas members and whose country has more problems to solve than hell.

Desmond Tutu is a hypocrite.

It is sad when some Jews support this sort of campaign and "activists".

Cheers

Ride the train waving a flag that's half "Palestinian" and half Nazi.
