This is rich: Netanyahu blames 'disengagement' supporters for Gaza security situation

Prime Minister Netanyahu equated Gaza with Iran on Wednesday and vowed once again not to allow the Mullahcracy to arm itself with nuclear weapons.
Iran is the primary actor responsible for escalations in the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Wednesday. "Gaza is Iran," the prime minister told a special Knesset session in which he was obligated to speak.

Connecting the recent round of violence in Gaza and the Iranian nuclear threat, Netanyahu said he is not prepared to accept a situation in which the country, which backs terrorist groups, becomes a nuclear power.
Netanyahu then went on to assign blame for the horrific situation in southern Israel.
The prime minister went on to lay blame for Iran's influence in the Strip on the 2005 Gaza Disengagement Plan and those politicians who supported it. "You inserted Iran into Gaza," he told members of Knesset.
And who were the politicians who supported the Gaza 'disengagement'?

Let's go to the videotape (I'm re-embedding it for you).

There is only one party in the Knesset that can call Netanyahu on that vote: National Union. The others either voted for the 'disengagement' or are in the coalition today. Ketzele, Michael Ben Ari, Aryeh Eldad and Uri Ariel - this is your chance.

Netanyahu is a hypocrite.

Yup.

He voted in favor and at least those who voted for disengagement haven't changed their minds.

Its become apparent that Israel's security has worsened since that vote was taken in 2005.

But people still don't have the courage to say it was a mistake.

What could go wrong indeed
