'Israeli Arab' MK meets with Hamas

During the course of a raid on a Hamas installation in Tulkarm in December, the General Security Service found a bonus: Photos of an 'Israeli Arab' MK meeting with senior Hamas members. Yes, of course, that gushing, smiling woman is MK Hanin Zoabi, who, as you may recall, was a passenger on the Mavi Marmara eighteen months ago and got off Scot free.

And she's quite proud of her actions.
Zoabi confirmed that she had met with Dwaik and Saleh in December: "The military shouldn’t be conducting these raids, but rather put an end to the occupation," she said Thursday.

"About 20 people took part in that meeting and the Shin Bet gave ne no trouble about it. Why should they? The entire world recognizes Hamas now and I think it's time Israel did so as well. We don't consider Hamas to be a terror organization," she said.
This is a member of the Israeli Knesset, not the 'Palestinian' one.

What's even more disturbing is the lack of reaction to Zoabi's latest provocation. Both Arutz Sheva and YNet leave the unsatisfying impression that only the Right's MK's care enough to blast Zoabi. No one from the Likud is quoted. No one from any of the religious parties. One low ranking MK each from Yisrael Beiteinu and Kadima is quotes. And it is left to Kadima MK Yoel Hasson to point out why the 'Israeli Arabs' won't be missing anything if Zoabi is expelled from the Knesset and placed on trial for treason. This is from YNet.
MK Yoel Hasson, chairman of the Kadima faction, added: "Zoabi has long since forgotten who her public is – she has abandoned them from preliminary action on behalf of various terror groups."

In light of her involvement in the Marama and the photos depicting her with Hamas officials, he added, "I find it deeply disconcerting that she is still serving as an Knesset member in Israel."
Zoabi doesn't belong in the Knesset. She belongs in jail.

I agree. She needs to rot in prison...where she would be exchanged in another "prisoner exchange." Boo. :-(

Zoabi doesn't belong in prison. She belongs in front of a firing squad.

I have to agree with Shy Guy. This MK consorting with Hamas is guilty of treason. She sat in on Israeli govt. meetings, had access to govt. plans and policy, and undoubtedly leaked it all to Hamas. Normally, that might be punished by life imprisonment. However, the reality is that Hamas is at war with Israel. In wartime, treason is a capital offence. The loyalty oath urged by Lieberman has just been proven to be a necessity for Israel's security.
