Breaking: Abu Mazen willing to meet with Netanyahu?

Israel Radio reports on its midnight news that 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen has accepted a Jordanian proposal to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu together with the 'Quartet.' The station notes that this does not constitute resumption of the long-suspended 'peace talks.'

Abu Mazen also demanded that Israel stop building in Jerusalem and suggested that if Prime Minister Netanyahu has a problem with that, he should 'get a new coalition.'

What could go wrong?

A pro-forma meeting would not accomplish anything.

Abu Bluff is not agreeing to resume direct talks in exchange for a meeting.

Netanyahu should turn him down. Its just a public relations stunt.
