They may want change but they don't want Livni

A poll published by Maagar Mochot finds strong support for the protesters. But it also finds strong support for Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Telephone poll of a representative sample of 521 adult Israelis (including Israeli Arabs) carried out by Maagar Mohot Survey Institute (headed by Professor Yitzchak Katz) 31 July 2011 for The Orly & Guy Morning Program - Channel 10 TV. Maximum sampling error is 4.5% with respect to various estimates.We're two years from elections, so there's still a lot of time. But no one appears to be rushing to put Livni in charge. Heh.

Carl - if you've read Netanyahu's remarks on an apology this morning, I couldn't believe what I read - he actually thinks subjecting Israel to national humiliation will protect Israel's soldiers. Its completely Orwellian. If you're defending him because he's a tad batter than Livni, if that apology is forthcoming, Netanyahu won't be Prime Minister for much longer. It would be a stupid and politically suicidal move for him to make.
