Riots spreading in Syria
Israel Radio just referred to riots in the Syrian port of Latakia on Saturday, the first I have heard of riots there.Here's an al-Jazeera report from Deraa on Friday, the place where the riots started.

I don't believe that Assad will go without a fight. Will the 'international community' treat Assad like it has treated Gadhafi? Don't bet on it.

The Sunnis are rioting but as long as the Alawites stick together there won't be a Sunni Islamist revolution.
