Israel's new Holocaust

I mentioned Italian journalist Giulio Meotti's A New Shoah. The Untold Story of Israel’s Victims of Terrorism here. Michael Totten has a lengthy interview with Meotti here.

And for those of you who are tired of the seemingly flip comparisons to the Holocaust, please consider Totten's opening lines:
At first glance I thought his title might be over-the-top. Orders of magnitude more people were murdered in the Shoah—the Nazi Holocaust—than by terrorists in Israel, but that isn’t the point. What Israel’s victims of terrorism have in common with the victims of the Nazi genocide is that they were Jews who were murdered for being Jews.

Yup. I do think its like the Shoah in a way: who lifts a finger for the victims? They're Jews, damned Jews! The world is irritated that they aren't dying off fast enough for "peace" to happen. And there's a great deal of truth to it. Who gets being told to forget the innumerable victims of Arab-perpetrated genocide? Israel, that's who!

For a "peace" that will in all likelihood, never happen.
