Ban Ki-Moon accuses Israel of raising tensions in the region

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon has accused Israel of raising tensions in our region by accusing Syria of providing Hezbullah with scud missiles.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said Israel's allegations that Hezbollah had received Scud missiles from Syria had "resulted in increased tension" in the region. Syria has denied the allegation.

"Such tension once again illustrated the importance of control by Lebanon over its borders and of the respect by all member states for the prohibition against transferring arms" in violation of resolution 1701, Ban said in his report.
Good luck with that.

By the way, the US confirmed Israel's allegations, so is Ki-Moon accusing the US of raising tensions in the region too?

(Sorry no funny pictures - there don't appear to be any funny pictures of Ki-Moon available).

The UN never places the responsibility on the aggressor. Only on the victim.

Time to party like its 1938!
