Surreal: As Iran builds nukes, world worries that Israel might have them

Talk about living in an alternate universe....

Here, in a nutshell, is what is wrong with the world: They intend to pressure Israel on nuclear weapons using the concept of a nuclear weapons-free Middle East.

The Reuters article carries many worrying issues, but this is the most unbelievable to me:
Several diplomats told Reuters that Egypt has made clear it sees Israel as a higher priority than Iran and has threatened to prevent the NPT conference from reaching any agreements next month if it does not get what it wants on Israel.
They are living in an alternate universe if they think the Israeli nuclear threat is greater than Iran’s. Egypt fought two wars with a nuclear-armed Israel. Conventional weapons were the only ones used.
So with Iran about to obtain nuclear weapons, the Egyptians want to have a conference about Israel's supposed nuclear weapons, which have been around for 45 years and have never been used. But here's what I find the most disturbing part of the Reuters article:
Western diplomats said the US willingness to entertain the idea of supporting such a conference highlighted the sharp shift in Washington’s approach to Israel under President Barack Obama compared with his predecessor George W. Bush.

Israel should use its nukes on Iran. Maybe that will give pause to every one else who has designs on destroying Israel. Israel should give Iran exactly the treatment it would mete out for Israel. The only way you're going to stop madmen is to make sure they no longer pose a threat to your survival. Once its out in the open, let the world worry then about Israeli nukes.
