Obama's statement on Israel Independence Day

Well, he didn't do a video, but President Obama finally issued what Laura Rozen described as a 'quite warm' message for Israel Independence Day.
"Minutes after David Ben-Gurion declared Israel’s independence, realizing the dream of a state for the Jewish people in their historic homeland, the United States became the first country to recognize Israel," Obama said. "To this day, we continue to share a strong, unbreakable bond of friendship between our two nations, anchored by the United States’ enduring commitment to Israel’s security."

"Israel remains our important partner and key strategic ally in the Middle East, and I am confident that our special relationship will only be strengthened in the months and years to come," he continued.

"I look forward to continuing our efforts with Israel to achieve comprehensive peace and security in the region, including a two-state solution, and to working together to counter the forces that threaten Israel, the United States, and the world," he said.

"On this day, we once again honor the extraordinary achievements of the people of Israel, and their deep and abiding friendship with the American people. I offer my best wishes to President Peres, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and the people of Israel as they celebrate this happy occasion."
I think we could have done without the 'two-state solution' dig. And note that we are only 'our important partner' and not 'our most important partner.'

No, I am not gushing with enthusiasm over this.

He's looking forward to strengthening the "special relationship" with Israel, eh?

He's a lying sack of shiite. But, of course, ma nish-tanah?

They all profess respect for Israel, etc.,etc.,etc...
We could fill volumes.

Words are cheap, especially the kind that sting like the worse slap possible. There is nothing the openly hostile narcissist Obama could say except apologize.

As to all those
words from supposed friends, only your actions will convince me one way or another as to the legitimacy of what you say/promise.

And while the "two state solution" is not around the corner, they all spewed it. The two state solution was one of the nails in the coffin thanks to friends and foes alike.

Bottom line: How could any friend promote this while knowing the truth? How could any friend deny us of our beloved Jerusalem? How could a friend formulate the quartet for peace made up of 3 openly hostile entities toward Israel?

Thanks to friends and foes alike, Israel has it's nose to one heck of a huge granite wall.

Ha ha...they all love us and honor our security so much so up to this point our friends and foes faked sleep while Iran in full view just about finished the race. They all utter never forget. We see how far that got us.

A solution that has no prospect of being realized in our lifetime. And where is it written Israel owes another people a state on a silver platter?
