Clinton: Iran's belligerence helping to make our case

Here's an interview with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates about deterring Iran.

Let's go to the videotape.

That doesn't like as effective a deterrent as nuclear weapons would be. And Gates' presentation in particular seems 99.44% fact free.

Really, this is ridiculous. The US govt people have taken to heart Arafat's method of saying what people want to hear. So US govt people say one thing into the record one day, and then send out others (or even the same people) to say into the record (soundbites for campaign ads) the exact opposite. And with these people, the results are coming out as the worst case scenario for the US's traditional role and for US allies. So, folks, watch what they do, don't listen to their Hollywood ad audio.
