Netanyahu to meet Obama Tuesday

Shavua tov, a good week to everyone.

Just before the Sabbath it was announced that Prime Minister Netanyahu would meet with President Obama on Tuesday.
US President Barack Obama will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington on Tuesday, according to a Fox News report. Netanyahu is also slated to make a speech during the Jewish lobby group AIPAC convention.
I can't wait to see what this costs us.

Netanyahu is getting some very bad advice and making some foolish decisions these days.

He should learn to say one really useful word: "No!"

Ashan,

According to Lieberman, Israel will make no more territorial concessions and Jerusalem is non-negotiable. The rest of the world thinks the outcome of negotiations should begin with the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Yesha and Jerusalem and end with a PLO terrorist state cheek to jowl along the Old green line. What's the point of Israel committing to a process where it gets no real peace in exchange?

And if Lieberman's position is indeed the government's policy, its hard to see the proximity talks going anywhere and for what its worth, Barry Rubin thinks the Palestinians will stay away anyway. There will be no end to the Israeli-Arab conflict in our lifetime.
