Moldova: Priest leads group that pulls down Menora

In Moldova, a Russian Orthodox priest identified as Fr. Anatoliy Chirbik led a demonstration on Sunday at which a Chanuka menora was pulled down.

Let's go to the videotape.

But perhaps more disturbing is the meaning of some of those Russian words.
The video shows an Orthodox priest, identified by Moldovan media as Fr. Anatoliy Chirbik, leading the Sunday demonstration at Stefan the Great Square and saying, "We are an Orthodox country. Stephan the Great defended our country from all kinds of kikes, and now they come and put their menorah here. This is anarchy."

Police said they were investigating, and that there was no official reaction from Moldova's Orthodox Church, which is part of the Russian Orthodox Church and counts 70 percent of Moldovans as members.

The national government said in a statement that "hatred, intolerance and xenophobia" are unacceptable.

Jewish leader Alexandr Bilinkis called on the Orthodox Church to take a position over the priest's actions.
Change anyone?

How lovely...

Let freedom ring, let us all know how we treat other in the light of the day...

Let it be written that Moldova sucks...

Maybe this will be the motivation for any Jews still there to leave?

Hmmm.. Russians are a minority in Moldova. Its a country in which the vast majority of the population is ethnic Romanian. My father was a Romanian Jew and with his sister experienced the Romanian Holocaust. He also lost his brother and never knew what happened to him. Anti-Semitism in eastern Europe is alive and well today.

As a Bible thumping Christian, this is absolutely disgusting. There are many who claim to be Christians who are not. I'm really tired of so called Christians with anti-Semitic attitudes and/or actions. Also, it doesn't surprise me that he is a Russian Orthodox Priest who is basically Catholic if you remove semantics. I believe they still hold to middle age catholic doctrine that states Jews are 'Christ Killers'. To explain why the Christ Killer doctrine is wrong for my Jewish friends,
Yeshua/Jesus laid down his life on his own accord to atone for the sins of mankind:
"for the life of the flesh is in the blood...for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.(Vayikra/Leviticus 17:11)
"Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin...by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities." (Yesha'Yahu/Isaiah 53:10-11)
So in short, the Jews cannot be Christ killers even if they wanted to, and, if you want to get into technicalities, it was the Roman's hands who literally put him to death by crucifixion, not the Jews.

I hope I can finally clear this up with many Jewish readers who read this blog, and hopefully they will understand our doctrine does not teach hatred toward the Jew.

Nonetheless, Antisemitism still flourishes in some parts of Christianity and is still scattered among ignorant or bigoted Christians. There is no excuse for this despicable act and I severely condemn it. It would be nice for Jews and Christians to hold hands and fight against those who say we evolved from a rock and eventually down the line from apes! I would like to end with a quote from the New Testament:

"...salvation is from the Jews." - (Yochanan/John 4:22)

All praise and all thanksgiving to Jesus Christ, Son of God, Messiah!

There is, as usual, a back story to the menorah removal—Jewish attacks and spitting on priests, the vandalization in Israel of Churches and Christian holy sites, including only a few days before the menorah removal, the Hebrew graffito "Death to Christians" at the sacred Upper Room, the site of the Last Supper. Neither did the ADL mention the desecration in Israel of an Orthodox Church a few days before.

No longer do the goyim credulously believe the Jewish pose of Always Sinless Perpetual Victims. Through the ages there has been cause and effect.

Look to the weight of Jewish history through the ages—Jewish perpetrated genocide, revolutionary subversion, tax farming, usury, swindling, ritual murder (that Israeli Prof. Ariel Toaff proved is no "libel" http://www.bloodpassover.com ), slavery, prostitution, pornography, organized crime...

Defending the Social Reign of Christ the King is not "antisemitism," but the duty of every Christian to oppose Jewish naturalism and misanthropy.

Even your "Hebrew Bible" shows that your people have constantly defaulted on the Mosaic Covenant so you receive the judgment of God promised in Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26.

Daniel, you should thump your Bible less and understand it more.

Hear ye another parable. There was a man and householder, who planted a vineyard, and made a hedge round about it, and dug in it a press, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen; and went into a strange country. And when the time of the fruits drew nigh, he sent his servants to the husbandmen that they might receive the fruits thereof. And the husbandmen laying hands on his servants, beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. Again he sent other servants more than the former; and they did to them in like manner. And last of all he sent to them his son, saying: They will reverence my son. But the husbandmen seeing the son, said among themselves: This is the heir: come, let us kill him, and we shall have his inheritance. And taking him, they cast him forth out of the vineyard, and killed him. When therefore the lord of the vineyard shall come, what will he do to those husbandmen? Mathew 21:33-39
