Tolerance, J Street style

J Street keeps insisting that everyone is welcome at its conference, including those who disagree with it. In fact, J Street's director, Jeremy Ben Ami, said as much in his opening remarks.

You will recall that the J Street 'bloggers' panel' was 'unofficial,' but just happened to be given a meeting room at the convention hotel. One of those who showed up for the bloggers' panel was a blogger known as J Street Jive. Mr. J Street Jive (also known as Hillel Stavis) was thrown out of the 'bloggers' panel' for videotaping. Hillel's full account of what happened to him is here (Hat Tip: Solomonia via Soccer Dad - it's worth reading all three of their accounts).

In this video, you will see Richard Silverstein go to the back of the room in the middle of someone else's talk and demand that Hillel Stavis be thrown out.

Let's go to the videotape.

Silverstein has apparently had it in for Stavis (and for Martin Solomon of Solomonia) for quite a while.

But J Street and its supporters are anything but tolerant of other views. On the other hand, the lady blogger in the hijab seems to fit right in.

An Arab being present would be highly unusual at a pro-Israel group. We already know J-street isn't one. And its thuggery towards its foes its just the icing on the proverbial cake.

What could go wrong indeed
