Bolton: 'Israel will attack Iran by the end of 2009'
Former US ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton tells Russian Times, Russia's English-language television station, that Israel will attack Iran before 2009 to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.Let's go to the videotape.
I'm not sure whether he's right, but I hope that he is. The longer Iran is allowed to keep up the pursuit of nuclear weapons, the more dangerous for Israel an attack becomes. It should be clear by now that the Obama administration has no intention of doing anything to stop Iran. Israel has no choice.
If anything, this State Department report - which claims that Iran won't be able to develop a nuclear weapon before 2013(!) (totally unrealistic in light of the amount of enriched uranium Iran already has in its possession) - makes it more likely that Israel will attack.
