Admiral Mike Mullen on the Middle East
Admiral Michael Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke to the Statesmen's Forum at the Center for Strategic and International Studies on Tuesday. He gets to Iran around the 12:30 mark of this video (yes, it's long - 49 minutes), and in some of the questions after his presentation. The questions start around the 16:00 mark. Note how he keep stressing that the window to stop Iran is narrow. Has President Obama gotten that message? I doubt it. Obama is so dogmatically opposed to meaningful action to stop Iran that he's just not hearing the message from his own chairman of the joint chiefs.Let's go to the videotape.

It assumes the US has a military option available on Iran. There's no sign of it.
