Caroline Glick: Remarks on receiving the 2009 Guardian of Zion Award

The Center for Security Policy's Middle East Fellow, Caroline Glick, received the 2009 Guardian of Zion Award this week in Jerusalem. The award is presented by the Ingeborg Rennert Foundation. Thanks to Yishai Fleisher of Israel National Radio, who recorded the audio. To read the text, go here.

The audio (sorry guys, no video) is below. It turns out she made aliya about three months before I did. And she speaks as well as she writes.

Jameel over at the Muqata says there is a small but effective right wing campaign to de-legitimize Obama and has Peace Now and Labor's rebels up in arms. About 200 people showed up at the vigil today opposite the US consulate in Jerusalem. Why should the Israeli Left be frightened of a small group of people? Its not the numbers that concern them - its the message - and the more Israeli Jews learn about Obama the less they like him. And that campaign will continue to spread and grow.
