Video: Hamas TV on when it's okay to lie

This is an April Fools Day program from Hamas' al-Aqsa television station on when it's okay to lie. It's the third of the three instances given that is the most problematic, although I have to wonder if the second instance would permit lying about marital infidelity.

Let's go to the videotape. More after the video.

I have to assume that 'lying to the enemy includes more than just saying that a suicide bomber is going to blow up in Jerusalem when he is really going to blow up in Tel Aviv. Presumably, it would also include the whole concept of taqiyya, which would allow - for example - making treaties with the Jews when one has no intention of abiding by them.

What a convenient religion....

In Islam, its permitted to lie to deceive the infidel so Muslims may gain an advantage. Now that's the hallmark of an ethical religion - one which by the way sees nothing wrong either with committing mass murder - again if is to the benefit of Islam! I think can't of any other religion that grants such convenient permission to engage in what most people think of as evil behavior. We would do well to note how all this fits in with Hamas' own anti-Semitic philosophy.

Another great use for lying, is when your teenaged daughters, scared that you might kill them, need to be persuaded that you won't kill them, in order to kill them.
