'Palestinian' flag inserted into Independence Day flier

As many of you know, Tuesday night and Wednesday are Israel's 61st Independence Day. A flier that has been hung on walls in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Givat Shaul includes a 'Palestinian' flag that was inserted behind a picture of David Ben Gurion, Israel's first Prime Minister, reading the country's Declaration of Independence (pciture at top left). Of course, there were no 'Palestinians' in 1948. The flag was apparently inserted by a computer hacker who infiltrated the company that created the fliers. After attempting to fix the flier by putting plain white stickers over the flag (which did not stay on), Israel Television reported tonight that the flier will be reprinted.
The advertisements, which were put up by the city's Givat Shaul community center throughout the neighborhood ahead of the holiday, included a small Palestinian flag next to a picture of Israel's first prime minister, David Ben Gurion.

About 20 such advertisements were erected in the neighborhood before being taken down and removed.

The Ben Gurion picture used in the advertisement was taken from a Web based photo archive which was broken into by Internet hackers, without being noticed by graphic artists or local officials, the heads of the community center said.

"A serious mishap occurred in the preparation of the Independence Day announcement, which was prepared by an external provider, as a result of the infiltration by malevolent sources into the internet photo archives," a statement by the heads of the community center read.

"We are stunned, hurt, and apologize for the grief caused to us all," the statement said.
Fifteen years ago, this would have been unthinkable, because the odds are that this was done by a leftist Jew and not by a 'Palestinian.' Fifteen years ago, even the leftist Jews would not have dared to do such a thing. The times, they are a changin'.

Agreed, Carl. Someone should tell the leftist Jewish morons the only Palestinians in existence on the eve of Israel's independence... were the Jews!

The Jewish people have earned the right to celebrate Israel's national independence.

The country was built, populated, liberated, and defended with astounding effort and sacrafice.

The Palestinians, on the other hand, have watched their own society degenerate, and want a country to be just given to them.

Learn the lesson this Yom Atzmaut.

You have to earn it.

Exactly, Matt. The Palestinians expect a country to be given to them on a silver platter. They have never made any effort to earn independence the way the Jews did and every other people on earth has done.
