Canadian PM Harper participates in Purim memorial for Mumbai victims

When you see what a mentch Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper is, you cannot help but contrast him with the racist who is currently President of the United States. On Purim, last week, Prime Minister Harper participated in a memorial service for the victims of November's slaughter at Chabad House in Mumbai.

Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: NY Nana).

PM Harper is a true friend of Israel and the Jews.

He also made a speech on the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel that was excellent, and probably the most sincere and caring of any world leader.

A Prime Minister who walks his kids to school whenever he can? The One is not fit to be in the same room with him.

Thanks for the hat tip.

Amen, Nana. You have some really decent people in this world and not all of them are Jews. They show us by their deeds exactly who they are. G-d bless Prime Minister Stephen Harper for taking the time to commemorate the Holtzmans, may their memory for a blessing and may G-d avenge them!

No, I don't think calling Obama a racist goes too far. Look at his actions and especially at his appointments.

I'm not sure what 'frum yid' you believe is his relative, but that doesn't preclude him being a racist or anti-Israel. If you were to check a shidduch, would you assume two cousins at any level had the same basic value set?

And I have seen no indication that you assertion that Rahm Emanuel is observant is true. Being the son of an Israeli doesn't make a person 'observant.'
