Surprise! Hamas smuggling anti-aircraft missiles, Grad rockets, plastic explosives during de facto 'ceasefire'

Remember how the Olmert-Barak-Livni government promised us at the end of Operation Cast Lead that weapons smuggling would be treated the same as missile fire and would draw the same response? Well, guess what. Channel 2 television reported tonight that during the de facto cease fire that has prevailed since Olmert caved to 'world opinion' a month ago, Hamas has smuggled anti-aircraft missiles, Grad-type Katyusha rockets and lots of other goodies into the Gaza Strip.
According to the report, since the IDF operation in Gaza, the terror group has succeeded in smuggling an unspecified amount of anti-aircraft missiles, numerous Grad rockets and advanced, C4 explosives.
In case you were wondering, C4 is a form of plastic explosive. A major advantage of C-4 is that it can easily be molded into any desired shape.
C-4 can be pressed into gaps, cracks and voids in buildings, bridges, equipment or machinery. Similarly, it can easily be inserted into empty shaped-charge cases of the type used by military engineers.

C-4 is very stable and insensitive to most physical shocks. Detonation can only be initiated by a combination of extreme heat and a shockwave, as when a detonator inserted into it is fired. C4 cannot be detonated by a gunshot or by dropping it onto a hard surface.
It's also ideal for pressing into suicide bombers' belts.

If this is what Hamas is managing to do when the 'cease fire' is only de facto and they are being watched, imagine what they will do when there's a 'real' 'cease fire' and Israel cannot just fire at them every time they try to smuggle weapons.

And as usual, the Olmert-Livni-Barak government has broken its word and not cracked down on the terrorists the way it promised it would.

Carl - you're mistaken. I hate to correct you but the Olmert-Livni-Barak government never called it a war and they never promised to win it.

That's a promise they kept rather than broke.
