PLO Lebanon Rep. Abbas Zaki: Arafat Sponsored the Development of Missile Capabilities in Gaza

Yes, I'm sure it will come as a shock to all of you that Yasser Arafat was responsible for the development of the terror organizations' missile capabilities in Gaza. But the confirmation is yet another reason to curse his accursed memory. The interview aired on Lebanon's ANB TV on July 17, 2008.

Let's go to the videotape. A transcript will follow and I will have a couple of comments.

Abbas Zaki: When the Palestinian Authority returned to Gaza [in 1994], Hamas did not have even 20 guns, weapons, and Fatah did not have even 100 guns. Abu Ammar, Allah's mercy upon him, flooded everybody with weapons, and sent our experts to produce missiles and weapons for whoever who wanted to fight. One of our people, General Abd Al-Mu'ti Al-Sab'awi, was martyred when he was making a rocket for them and it went off. He was developing missiles for them. Unfortunately, they [Hamas] have turned their backs on us now.
Note what Zaki says about how little weaponry there was in Gaza in 1994. That shows once again what a stupid, stupid move Rabin's and Peres' 'Oslo agreements' were.

Second, I wonder if Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama is going to lay a wreath at the founder of terrorism's mausoleum on Wednesday when he's in Ramallah. I still have not seen any word on that question.

Its another reason I've despised the Israeli leaders who imported the PLO terror leadership from Tunis and gave it legitimacy just at the very point when the PLO became irrelevant. Both Rabin and Peres managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, the consequences for which Israel is still paying to this very day.
