Kidnapping soldiers the 'best way' to free terrorists

The terror groups have learned their lesson from the 'terrorists for corpses trade' between Israel and Hezbullah. A 'senior Hamas official' told Arab media sources over the weekend that kidnapping soldiers is the 'best way' to bring about the release of imprisoned terrorists.
"The deal with Hezbollah proves again that the way to release prisoners is by kidnapping soldiers," according to Osama Hamdan, a senior Hamas official in Lebanon.

Israeli negotiations with Hamas for the release of captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit are ongoing. Hamas demands thus far have included that a large number of imprisoned terrorists be released, including those with "blood on their hands" and senior terrorist commanders such as Marwan Barghouti.
Thank you to the Olmert-Barak-Livni-Yishai government for putting the interests of the Goldwasser and Regev families ahead of the country's interests, and bringing about a permanent threat that could even extend beyond soldiers to civilians.

They can't stand looking a few families in the eyes to tell them the consequences of a surrender to terror would be harmful to the country. I don't think there is a single person in Israel apart from those in the government who thinks this is a good deal and the people in the government want to just get it over with and done. Of course once it goes through, Israel will be paying the real price for years to come.
