On Sunday night, Syrian television depicted Israel's Prime Minister Ehud K. Olmert as Adolph Hitler YMS"H (may his name be obliterated). If you go here, you can see a few seconds of it in the middle of Haaretz's news report (it's about 40 seconds into the report).

I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' I don't have much affection for Ehud Olmert but the Syrian equation of Olmert with Hitler shows the Syrians are still not ready to see Israelis as human beings and as their moral equals. Peace is still a long ways off.
