Breaking: Large car bomb at Erez crossing - UPDATED, VIDEO ADDED

A large car bomb went off just before 7:00 AM Thursday at the Erez crossing point between Gaza and 'Israel proper.' The explosion was followed by mortar fire on the crossing point. No Israelis are reported injured, but obviously this will result in at least a temporary stoppage of supplies passing through the crossing point to the 'besieged' Gaza Strip.

UPDATE 7:48 AM

Here's an update on this story.
There were apparently no casualties among IDF soldiers at the site, but a number of homes in the Israeli community of Netiv Ha'asara were damaged during the explosion Palestinian sources said the attack included gunfire and a suicide bombing. One Palestinian was killed, they said.

The Al-Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad's armed wing, claimed responsibility for the attack at the Erez crossing along with the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, Fatah's military wing.

The Israeli military, which keeps a garrison at the site, declined comment.
That would be 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen (the $7.4 billion man)'s 'good terrorists' from Fatah.

Heh.

UPDATE 10:27 AM

I now have video from the aftermath of Thursday morning's attack, so let's go to the videotape.
