She sure isn't the mind of 2008

The British 'men's magazine' Arena has named Israeli 'supermodel' Bar Refaeli the 'body of 2008.' (Warning - pictures not suitable for all environments).

Well no one is going to name her the mind of 2008:
In the interview, Rafaeli was quoted as saying, "Why is it good to die for our country? Isn't it better to live in New York?" She was also quoted as saying, "What does it does matter, Uganda or Israel," as well as, "I am not sorry for not serving in the army, because I profited in a big way," and "I'll never bring a celebrity to Israel because they have chutzpah here like nowhere else in the world."

Her comments were published in newspapers in Israel and around the world. A few days later Yedioth published an article claiming "Now Bar is slandering Israel abroad," in reference to an interview Rafaeli gave to the fashion magazine Tattler.
Stay in Hollywood with all the other vapid 'celebrities.' Please.

Bar Refaeli is a trashy yored. She not only didn't serve in the IDF, its clear she doesn't love Israel. In a generation we've gone from Ofra Haza, who did her IDF service and loved her country and even at the height of her international fame - never forgot who she was from and she never thought of living any place but Israel - to the likes of Refaeli, who boasts of draft dodging, scorns her own country and would rather live anywhere but Israel. The new post-Zionism.

I do hope Ms. Rafaeli keeps celebrity far away from Eretz Israel.
