Nasrallah accuses Israel of assassinations in Lebanon

Tell me he's kidding.

Hezbullah chief Hassan Nasrallah, who still hasn't come out of hiding, is accusing Israel of assassinating Lebanese politicians in Lebanon.

"Israel is the one who is carrying out the killings in Lebanon. It wants to stir discord and internal fighting in Lebanon," he said in the televised speech, broadcast from an undisclosed location, addressing supporters at a rally to commemorate Jerusalem Day in Beirut's southern suburbs. He further suggested that Israel was killing March 14 figures – in particular, MPs Gebran Tueni, Pierre Gemayel and Antoine Ghanem – in order to bring down the Syrian regime by facilitating the creation of the international tribunal.

Nasrallah gave "personal guarantees that Syria would approve the election of a president on a consensus base."

"Israel is the one that does not want a consensus president and a government of national unity in Lebanon. Israel, backed by America, wants a president who would disarm the resistance," he insisted.

The man has serious psychological problems.
