Israel's Gitmo?

The Nafha society, which represents the interests of 'Palestinian' prisoners terrorists is complaining that the Hamas 'legislators' who were arrested last year are often held in shackles - sometimes for as much as fifteen hours at a time. But from reading the end of the story, the fifteen hours sounds like an exaggeration, and it sounds like they're being shackled for transport to and from court hearings, which would not be unusual:
Dr Dweik depicted the Israeli treatment as "an attempt to humiliate the Palestinian officials while they are in transit to the court hearings."
Aww.....

Aw shucks Carl!

Abu Kabir is the closest thing we have to Club Gitmo......though I must admit, it is slightly, ever so slightly, less homey. (Of course the guests at Abu Kabir are allowed to communicate....we even encourage them to "talk".
