'Palestinian' Civil War Update - Hamas burns down Fatah 'Preventive Security' headquarters; US to increase aid to Abu Mazen

For those who didn't notice the telltale writing along the top of your screen, Blogspot forced me into "New Blogger" yesterday. I put it off as long as I could, because there are things about it that I don't like.... But that's another topic for another time....

It's a hot time in Gaza tonight.

Hamas terrorists set fire to the headquarters of the Fatah terrorists at 'Preventive Security', burning the building to the ground. Immediately afterwards, they moved on and set fire to the headquarters of 'Force 17,' and destroyed that building as well. The attacks were allegedly a response Fatah attacks on Hamas' 'agriculture ministry' earlier today looking for hidden weapons and terrorists.

Just yesterday, Hamas and Fatah signed yet another 'truce.'

The powers that be apparently differ on how to solve these 'problems.' The United States plans to increase its assistance to 'moderate' 'Palestinian President' Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen, going beyond Force 17 to "[P]roviding non-lethal equipment and training to units of Abbas's National Security Forces, and possibly the Jordan-based Badr Brigade." The European Union, on the other hand, believes that the so-called quartet has to be more 'flexible' in "should be flexible regarding the international community's three conditions for granting Hamas legitimacy: recognition of Israel, forswearing terrorism, and accepting previous Israeli-Palestinian agreements." The 'quartet' met on Friday.

All I can say to the 'Palestinians' is faster, faster....
