Possible kidnap victim is an American Jew
Earlier this evening, I reported that Benjamin Bright-Fishbein of Jerusalem had been reported kidnapped. Arutz Sheva is now reporting that the kidnap victim is an American Jew. A quick google search turned up this article from the Jerusalem Post, which was also linked from the Brown Daily Squeal.Another article I found from the Brown Daily Herald indicates that Fishbein just completed his junior year at Brown University. Given that the article was written about a trip he took to the Sudan, I find it quite plausible that he may have gone to Shchem on his own accord.

The article was NOT about a trip that Bright-Fishbein made to the Sudan, but rather a visit he made to the famous temple of Abu Simbel, in Egypt.
