Kassam fire continues; Jihad claims longer range

Despite the fact that Israel has massed forces on the Gaza border preparing for an invasion, the 'Palestinians' continue to shoot Kassam rockets into Israel. Three more Kassams were shot last night. Two landed in open areas of the Negev, but one hit a light post in Sderot, knocking out power and sending four people to the hospital with light shrapnel wounds and eleven more to the hospital in shock.

The worse news is that Islamic Jihad claims to have developed a Kassam rocket with a range of up to 20 kilometers, more than three times as far as the range of the current Kassam rockets. Obviously, this would put a lot more areas at risk of Kassam fire.

So, based on your posts today, do you think Olmert is up to this current challenge?
