IAF jets attack Palestinian terror bases in Lebanon

In response to this morning's Katyusha attack on Mount Meron, Israel air force jets have attacked Palestinian terror bases in Southern Lebanon.

According to the Jerusalem Post and al-AP, the jets carried out two air raids on a base of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command in Sultan Yacoub, a village about 5 kilometers (3 miles) from the Syrian border, and a base at the vilage of Nueima, south of Beirut. Those of you with a sense of history may recall that Sultan Yacoub was the site of the largest tank battle in history twenty-four years ago next month.

According to Israel Radio, at least two PFLP members were wounded in the attack on the Nueima base.
