Why is this Operation different from all the other Operations?

Speaking at a press conference with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that now that we ceased and Hamas fired, he expects the World to support us.
Speaking before a meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Netanyahu pointed out that Israel had accepted the ceasefire, which stipulated that both sides should immediately end hostilities. Hamas claimed the truce amounted to a "surrender" on its part, since it did not include the conditions they had stipulated for a ceasefire - which included prisoner releases and a lifting of the Israeli and Egyptian blockades on Gaza - and responded by escalating its attacks against Israeli civilians.
"Our goal was and remains putting an end to rocket fire from Gaza on our cities, and providing the citizens of Israel with the sustained peace and quiet which they are entitled to," the prime minister said at a pre-meeting press conference.
Turning to the German foreign minister, he pointed out that it was Israel's right under international law to defend itself from attacks on its population.
"I know that you know that no country would sit idly by while its civilian population was subjected to terrorist rocket fire - Israel is no exception," he said.
Let's go to the videotape.

Unfortunately, the Prime Minister is likely engaging in some wishful thinking. The world... support... Israel?!? You've got to be kidding. Just wait until Hussein Obama hears this.

  1. It is just like listening to some weird
rendition of that told song "When
    will they ever learn....".

Just an example this is the
lead in to the story on the
    falied cease fire agreement
    in the Daily Telegraph:

    "A propsed ceasefire between
    Israel and Hamas has broken
    down within hours, with both
    sides launching rockets into
    the other's territory."

    And that's not an exception,
    but the rule!

  2. He is garbage.. making excuses.

Where are Simeon and Levi when we really need them? They stood up for Dinah's honor.

Who will stand up for Israel's good name that he defiled?

  3. The world will not support Israel. No matter what Israel does the world will not support it. This is why Israel needs to only please itself and its conscience. Nobody else. Screw world opinion.
