Occupy Boston attempt to enter Israeli consulate an officially sanctioned event

Various bloggers have presented scores of incidents as evidence that #OWS and its non-New York progeny are anti-Semitic. Inevitably, we are met with claims that the evidence presented comes from individuals or that the events in question are 'not officially sanctioned.'

Yid With Lid posts a screen shot from Occupy Boston's web page, which shows that Friday's attempt to storm the Israeli consulate in Boston (fortunately, they did not get past the lobby) was an officially sanctioned event.

Still waiting to hear from someone who can prove that the #OWS (Occupy Wall Street) movement and its progeny are anything other than anti-Semitic.

    Judaism is a religion, "Semites" are a race, Israel is a country, and the Israeli Consulate is a branch of a government.

    Protesting at the Israeli Consulate is no more evidence of anti-semitism or anti-Judaism than the Falun Gong protesting at the Chinese consulate is evidence of anti-Chinese racism.

    Please grow up.
